Replacement:
  • For optimal results, replace your Filter Pad (with activated carbon) monthly as the activated carbon the is enclosed in the bio-wool will be exhausted and lose its effectiveness. Bio Toxins will not be absorbed when the fish will suffer from bio toxification.
  • Always remember to rinse the new Filter Pad with clean water before usage as shown in Fig 1.
  • Remove the used Filter Pad from the filter compartment and discard it.
  • Slot the new Filter Pad back into the filter compartment.Makes sure that it fits securely as shown in Fig 2.
Cautions:
  • Always remember to remove the Filter Pad (with activated carbon) if medication is  applied into the tank to treat diseases as it will render your medication ineffective. Activated carbon will absorb all the active chemical of the medication.
